Captivating audiences/taking audiences captive since 2003

Sometimes, when I lie awake at night, I think to myself: is there a God? Is there someone out there who understands me, who cares about my well-being, who wants me to be happy?

And then I think:

We are all witnesses.

  1. You know, for how many problems this team is, it is nice to see the little guys be able to shine. It will certainly be an interesting fun last month of baseball, even if the Cards are just trying to stay afloat.

  3. The past couple of seasons the Cardinals have had guys step up and contribute from the bench when this team has struggled. This year we havent had that too much and its been refreshing to see someone like Bennett step up and deliver

  4. I feel an explosion of ‘O’ today. nat’l tv where the cards have embarrassed themselves this year, only a few runs scored so far this series, les walrond on the mound. it’ll be up to weaver to not allow his usual 1 or 2 monster homeruns tonight.

  11. As far as bennett adding more value than yadi- let’s not get carried away. After all, the only reason we were batting in the bottom of the ninth is because bynum took second and juan pierre took third on a passed ball “wild pitch” that yadi would probably have had, and then scored on a ground ball that would have been a double play if it was first and second, one out instead of second and third, one out.
